Important note: I'm writing this more in terms of a new, free-2-play person who's very limited on cash. It will not be the optimized route for higher range.

So many people been asking what ring(s) they should aim for as endgame rings. It's easy to say Superior gollux, Reinforced gollux, forest guardian, and Hilla's/Mangus's Rage if one have all funding to do so. Lightning god ring at this point even with a 16 att buff seem more of a novelty item.

The two gollux rings are easily obtainable, but not everyone will have the fund to obtain the latter two rings because those are obtained through gachapon, philosopher's book, or marvel. It's possible to buy them from other people but would cost a fortune. Like for myself being a free-2-play person, forest guardian or rage ring is not an option.

So at this point, as a free player, what other rings can I use beside the two gollux rings? Not a lot of people go with this route but I'm using scarlet ring as my third ring.

Why?! I'm not a merchant nor do I buy nx/mesos so my fund is very limited. For the foreseeable horizon, I'm not getting a 7+ star tyrant belt anytime soon which means I need another belt as a replacement and this is where scarlet ring makes the next best use of opting out of tyrant belt.

From the above picture, those are the two gollux set effects and my stats without scarlet ring on.

However, when you have 3 pieces of reinforced gollux and 3 pieces of superior gollux set on and then equip the scarlet ring, the scarlet ring will count into both set and you get both set effect as shown in the picture below.

But a warning, nexon does seem to know about this and in KMST version, scarlet ring only affects the higher tier (superior set). It's up to you if you want to go down this same route. There could be a potential nerf to make it similar to KMST. At the time when I got the scarlet ring, it was only about 1.5b in free market.

Perhaps I dont want to go with scarlet, are there other alternative? There are event rings such as vengeful ring or master SS. Between the two, I would opt for master as it's slightly higher stat. Although neither have star enhancement, they're both third tier potential. Because theses are events, they'll come back every now and then. You just have to be patience and keep an eye out to see when they come back.

In the meantime, solid and blackgate rings are much more easily obtainable in-game and could be considered until event ring rolls around.
