Goal:

To get the medal, you must complete all 33 recipes with the perfect 4-star combination (explain in further detail later). Note: the correct combination can vary from person to person.

Even though the little medal show 5 stars, the game will consider it as 4 stars.

For those that are just purely going for the permanent cash shop hats, you can ignore the 4 stars and just concentrate on clearing all recipes with 3 stars per recipe which have a wider combination that will result in 3 stars.

Objective:

First of all you need to download the excel sheet (credit goes to the person making that excel sheet)

The excel sheet will list all the possible combination for each recipe. An example from tier recipe:

Gather the ingredients by fighting monster within your level range. Boxes are specific tier, so as you advance to higher tier, you must go back and obtain more boxes for that new tier.

So you can technically go through and complete the event via guess and checking route until you find the 4-star combination, however, there is another easy but longer way to complete the event.

This route also reduces the amount of boxes you need to farm since you will not need as many ingredients to find the combination. This method require farming hints. There are limitations such that you can only use a maximum of 5 hints per day. Furthermore, you have to collect the hints before you get stars on all the recipe. In other word, you need a recipe 0 star in order to get the hint.

To farm hint, simply get the combination incorrect for 5 times to get summon to an alternate map and fight Chef Gourdon Ritzy which will drop the hints.

To use the hint, put in a combination from the excel sheet for the recipe you're working on and hit the cook button.

When the progress complete, click on the chef button to get feedback.

It's important to take note on his feedback as well as the number you used to determine your perfect combination. This is an example from my tier 10 recipe:

All the ingredient with star rating of 4 is the correct number. Do not change it!, Any other rating (0-3) is incorrect, however those will help you reveal the true combination. Again this will be done with a tier 10 recipe as an example.

My combination list is longer, but given the feedback hints, I knew I didn't need the rest. The combination on the excel contain only 7 and 8 as my possible choice for rice noodles and my rating was a 3 for that ingredient indicating a wrong guess, therefore, I can eliminate all the combination with 7 rice noodles. Now my possible combination pool shrunk down to entries with 8 rice noodles.

Next ingredient, I chose is 4 units of green bean sprout and got a rating of 1. Again this is incorrect and further eliminate some more combination.

You probably get the idea now. Continue going through the feedback and if done correctly should reveal a lone combination to be your 4-star rating combination.

Note

• Tier 9 have 2 egg ingredient that looks identical. Use the inventory sort button to determine egg (1) and egg (2).
• Tier 9 Tom Yum recipe, don't start with shrimp-5, chili-3, lime-3, lemongrass-3, ginger-3, and cilantro-3, this combination result in 0 star therefore you can't use the hint
• Farm some extra hints before you get to tier 11 otherwise tier 11 will be a major pain as the combination possibility is quite large.

Tier 11 (Legendary tier):

So now that I completed tier 11, I have a little more understanding on how to complete this level. I will be using the hint system; therefore, the excel sheet is no longer necessary for this tier as Nexon changed the boundary and made the combination pool to long to list out every possibility. Each recipe will take about 3 hints to complete. If you must break the attempts into 2 days, just keep track of progress. The first combination (base) to try is as follow for each recipe:

I will explain using Sweet spicy shrimp recipe (first one of tier 11) but idea will work with the other two as well.

After inputting the base quantity of ingredient, check rating with Gourdon. Disregard the recipe shown in the picture as those were from earlier, but I'm just reminding of the buttons. Go ahead and use one hint when the button come up and remember to take careful note.

The result will reveal some information. The overall 1-3 stars can be ignored. You just want to look at the rating from the hint. Like previously, you're still looking for a rating of 4 which is the correct quantity. So at any point when rating 4 come up, don't change it anymore.

However, if the rating of 4 didn't come up, you will see a rating of either 1 or 3. The rating of 3 means that the correct quantity is one number higher or lower than the current quantity you tried. So if this was 23 shrimp you were checking and a 3 rating was shown, your correct quantity is either 22 or 24. If the rating came up as 1, this mean you're two units or more away from the correct one accorinding to this table:

I would recommend to check either of the end number, 20 or 26 shrimp and decipher accordingly to the rating that shows up. Rating of 1 mean check the other end. A rating of 3 mean you're right next to the correct quantity which is 21 or 25, respectively.

I only mentioned 1 ingredient but you need to go through the process at the same time for all 6-7 ingredients per recipe. It may seem long but each recipe should only take a total of 3 hints to completely solve the quantity necessary.
